Small Business and Social Media a marriage made in Heaven or Hell?
It seems like social media is a gift from heaven and that the execution can make you feel like you are in hell.
Yes more and more small businesses are turning to social media to meet their marketing needs. But recent surveys show that most small businesses feel overwhelmed by the challenge.
For some the challenge for many entrepreneurs is how to best use social media. For other it is how to find the time to use social media. Many in the second group are looking for options other then just finding the time. Small business owners are looking for outsource options and looking in large numbers.
It is one thing to hire a consultant to get advice, guidance and direction with social media but it is another thing all together to out source it completely. It brings up the question should you out source? I have begun to hear this topic pop up in more places including anywhere entrepreneurs gather. “Have you out sourced?” How much did you out source?” “Who are you using?” and sooner or later the question get asked – “Are they any good?” And too often the answer is “I don’t know”
Do you know enough about Social Media to outsource it?
What are your expectations for ROI? And over what time period?
How will you measure the results?
How will you know when you are successful?
