Today my Motorola Atrix android mobile phone rang and I answered it. Politely, the recorded voice spoke and told me it was my mobile phone provider. Since I just recently changed providers, I listened.

The voice told me who it was and to call them right away.

Then the voice gave me their mailing address on the other side of the country.

HUH?

What was I supposed to do with that? Sure they gave me the toll free phone number too but I was so busy laughing I couldn't find a pen to write it down!

What on earth am I going to do with the mailing address? Send them an urgent letter asking them what they want?

They have my phone number why don't they just call and tell me what the problem is rather than have me wait on hold forever?

Not what I would call good customer service.
